Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Vivint, Inc. or Vivint Louisiana LLC.’s websites for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Vivint, Inc.’s website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any claim relating to Vivint Louisiana’s website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Additional Terms

* Vivint Pricing Packages require a signed 48 or 60 month agreement. Package pricing and features vary based on package type, system configuration, size of the home, and level of coverage. Security packages start at $53.99/month (total cost $2,591.52 for 48 months and $3,239.40 for 60 months), and packages range in price up to $69.99/month ($3,359.52 for 48 months and $4,199.40 for 60 months). A minimum $99 Activation Fee is required for all packages and increase up to $199 for the Smart Control Package. Taxes and local permit fees may apply. Services are not available in all area. Vivint, Inc. is not licensed in Louisiana and services performed in Louisiana are performed by Vivint Louisiana, License #F1819. Type and amount of equipment may vary from package to package and from customer to customer. The equipment included in each package is customizable to customers’ home and preferences. Security Packages include 4 doors, 1 motion detector or glass break sensor, and one remote control. The Smart Energy Package will include the same amount of security equipment as well as 1 Smart Thermostat and 1 Lamp Module. Smart Control packages will include all equipment in Security and Energy Packages and will also include 1 Stationary camera and 1 door lock. Equipment may be substituted for equal value. Additional equipment may be purchased and additional equipment will not affect the monthly monitoring rate, but may affect the upfront cost paid at the time of set-up. If you have existing security equipment in your home, such equipment may or may not be compatible with Vivint’s equipment and may be incorporated into the new Vivint system in some instances. Vivint equipment comes with a Limited Lifetime Equipment Warranty. In summary, Vivint’s Equipment Warranty covers all defective equipment and all natural wear and tear for as long as you are a paying customer with Vivint. While defective or worn out equipment will be covered while you are a customer with us, after the first 120 days after installation, you will be responsible for a visit charge at our then prevailing rate for service, plus any applicable taxes. Certain terms and restrictions apply, see your Agreement for complete warranty details.

**Lifetime warranty: some exclusions apply. Warranty covers defective equipment and normal wear and tear and excludes abuse, neglect, and acts of God.

Compliance with Laws; Prohibited Activities. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, statutes, rules and ordinances, in connection with your use of this Site. In addition, you agree not to use any device, software, or routine, including but not limited to any viruses, worms, time bombs, to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Site or any Service, or to intercept any system, data or personal information from this Site, nor will you take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on this Site’s infrastructure.

CLIENT complies with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR Part 255 “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”. Accordingly, if you make any post on any social network (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) as a part of this Program, you must include, and not delete, any disclosure that the Program website automatically creates for the post you are making. In the event that no such disclosure is automatically generated for your social network, you must, at a minimum include either “This is a paid endorsement” or “#paidad” in any social network posts you make as a part of this program. You are responsible for ensuring that your posts on any social network comply with the terms of use of the site, and any other applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
