A new partnership between Vivint and Larry H. Miller Sports and Entertainment means the Utah Jazz will be playing in the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Previously this Utah arena was named the EnergySolutions Arena, but this partnership ensures the stadium’s new name will remain for 10 years.

As a company that is headquartered in Provo, Utah, Vivint makes a likely partner for the Utah Jazz arena. Vivint is not only putting their name on the arena. They are also bringing some automation and smart tech improvements to the stadium. Their goal is to bring innovation, build community, and help grow Utah’s presence as a major player in the USA.
Upgrades for the Vivint Arena
Vivint plans on making some major updates to the arena. Improving the technology of security of the arena is a top priority with this new partnership. Vivint will utilize its smart home technology to greatly improve the visibility and experience of fans and visitors. Their goal is to provide a “Vivint Smart Home Experience” for the ultimate entertainment experience for sports fans and concert goers.
Major updates have already been put into place over the previous 5 years including a $15 million investment to install an HD video display for better viewing.
About the Utah Jazz Arena
The arena hosts almost 20,000 people at a time. During a typical year, over 1.8 million people will attend concerted or events there. Larry H Miller lead its construction about 25 years ago to create a large basketball court for Utahns. When the Utah Jazz team was looking for a new sponsor for the arena, they knew Vivint was the perfect choice because of their support over the years and the fact that they are located in Utah.
